I unpacked numerous boxes and bins, and organized all my clothes in one small walk-in closet.I ran out of space because I had accumulated a lot of things over the years. More boxes and bins lined the walls in my bedroom.

After I put away most of my belongings, I still had to organize my grandson’s clothing and toys.I had more stuff than I had space  Every closet was full to capacity.  Eventually, I made a decision. Some of the older items had to be discarded. I made two piles-Donate and Trash.

Now that it’s a new year, I am making room for new things, not just tangible items, but I am carving out space in my life for fresh ideas and new opportunities to share my writing.

According to Isaiah 43:19, God says that He will do a new thing and I am looking forward to an amazing year as I continue to pursue my writing goals.

What about you friend? Are you excited about the new things that God wants to do in your life?

Sometimes, we have to make room to receive all that God has for us. For some that could mean letting go of negativity and developing a positive mindset. 2nd Corinthians 5:17 reads, “Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: the old has gone, the new is here.” (NIV) Hallelujah!

I am excited about all that God has for me in 2019.
