Recently I’ve been captivated by the TV show My 60O lb Life.
This show follows the journey of individuals who are hoping to lose weight by getting gastric bypass surgery. They go to Texas and start a treatment plan with Dr. Nowzardan. These individuals are instructed to eat high protein foods and refrain from eating foods that are high in carbs like bread, rice and pasta. Some of them even begin exercising. I’m not 600 pounds and neither would I even consider weight loss surgery, but I am interested in losing a few pounds.
I have no issues whatsoever with individuals who get weight loss surgery and I’m impressed with those who are able to lose a lot of weight in a short period of time. Most women do not divulge their weight. For now, I’ll keep that to myself. Let’s just say that I should weigh about a hundred and fifty pounds.
I do need to lose a few pounds. I had some weight issues when I was younger too. I wasn’t overweight.
I was skinny. Some of my former coworkers thought I was anorexic. I was not. Around 2013, I started gaining weight. I don’t work anymore. I mostly have a sedentary lifestyle. Plus, I should stop eating potato chips, chocolate and pasta.
Yeah, I’m guilty.
The state of being overweight is just temporary. I am going to do what I need to do to lose this weight. I just recently started a new eating plan- the military plan : saltines, eggs, tuna, apples, bananas and vegetables. I’ve been doing great and I’ve already lost 8 pounds in a few weeks. I’m super proud of myself.
